On June 24, the NEOMA Business School Confucius Institute for Business and the Europe China Business Center co-hosted the "Launch Ceremony of the EURO-CHINA Executive Club and the Franco-Chinese Renewable Energy Cooperation Forum" in Paris. The event aimed to promote cooperation between French and Chinese enterprises in the field of renewable energy and deepen cultural and economic relations.
Under the theme "Renewable Energy and Greenhouse Gas Reduction," nearly 100 representatives from the energy sector, research institutions, enterprises, and investment fields in both countries attended, including Yves Bamberger, Honorary President of the French Academy of Technologies, and Frédéric Lajoux, Director at Enedis.
The participants discussed trends in the evolution of energy systems and presented successful cases of Sino-French cooperation in green energy innovation and green data centers. Chinese financial institutions in France shared their experience in structured and green financing, especially in overseas project financing.
The Confucius Institute also announced the establishment of the EURO-CHINA Executive Club (EC²) and presented its mission and future vision, aiming to foster high-level dialogue, thematic seminars, and cultural exchanges to enhance bilateral cooperation and trust.
